Salary:  Starting £230 per week with clear progression through apprenticeship to £400 per week at qualification

Hours:  Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm - 35hrs

Contract Type: Fixed Term 18months

Course Information: Business Administration Level 3 - You will be allocated the time required during the working week to attend learning that supports your apprenticeship course.

We have an exciting new opening for an enthusiastic Admin Apprentice to join our Head Office in Nottingham. This Apprenticeship will provide an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to kick-start their career in Business Administration.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for our customers and portray a positive, professional and helpful image of the organisation and ensure safeguarding and complaints are managed in line with procedures
  • Undertake a wide range of administrative tasks and duties including travel booking and accommodation, monthly reporting, event planning, stock ordering, and invoicing are just some of the tasks
  • Working as part of the Admin Team ensuring that key tasks are completed according to company timelines
  • Use of IT packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Access as well as company database ‘Charms’
  • Ensure all email communications to staff and external agencies are presented within the guidelines of the company’s electronic communications policy
  • Attend and participate at team meetings

 

The ideal candidate must have the following skills and experience:

  • Basic administration skills
  • GCSE/equivalent in Maths and English - This can be completed alongside your qualification if not already obtained.
  • Ability to manage own workload and work independently
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • An understanding of the use of IT and electronic communications including Microsoft Office (eg Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Be open to direction, using initiative to seek advice where necessary
